At AASHE 2012 Hunter announced an exciting new project that will help drive sustainability in higher education. NCS has partnered with BGI, In the Telling, and Person to create a prototype of The Madrone Project—learning modules with short video documentary integrated with other dynamic learning resources, activities and social media.
You will have the opportunity to bring world-renowned sustainability thought leaders and entrepreneurs to your classroom. The modular micro-courses can be used in augmenting existing sustainability courses at your institution or online. Our goal is to publish multiple sustainability programs by the end of 2013 but we will piloting several stand-alone modules that will be available this coming January.
